Recent Results June 24 through July 1st in National Junior Olympics- Marvin McGowan defeats Michael Page in preliminary round. Luis Arias (eventual Junior Olympic Champion and Silver medalist in world championships) defeats Marvin McGowan in quarter-final round. Later, in the evening, Steve Geffrard defeats Roberto Valenzuela to advance to the semi-final round. Isaac Atencio (2004 national silver gloves champion and eventual national junior Olympic runner-up) defeats Steve Geffrard.
July 15th in Orlando- Undefeated Maurice Ivanson defeats Lawrence Newton.
August 5th in Miami-Dade: Lawrence "B.T" Newton drops a disputed decision to Teofilio Lopez. Alden Chodash wins on points against Marshan Valentine. Serge Andrzjewski wins on retirement by his adversary. Mac Briggs wins on points against opponent. Bryan Smith was forced to retire midway through the final frame due to a hand injury sustained in the second round versus Byron Zamora.
September 9th in Boca Raton: Lawrence "B.T" Newton outworks Marquavious Greer to capture a decision. Alden Chodash defeats Javier Salante (fight footage). Brian Smith defeats George Montana. Jonathon Cepeda stops Wilky Comfort with a sudden cross in the fourth and final frame. Kendrick Baker wins via disqualification. September 23rd in Boca Raton: Lawrence Newton takes a decision in a bout that could have easily gone to former Newton victim Marquavious Greer. Bryan Smith evens the score against Byron Zamora. Mac Briggs drops a dubious decision to his opponent. Kendrick Baker drops Victor Prismatt en route to a decision victory. November 4th "State P.A.L": Newton, Baker, Briggs, comebacking Wilson Feliciano, Geffrard, and Herrera win State P.A.L belts but Brian Smith loses a close controversial call. December 2nd "State Silver Gloves": Kendrick Baker loses a close call in hisnon-tournament bout against drastically taller Bryant Petrella. Brian Smith gets a walkover to the Regional Silver Gloves tournament. BT Newton decisions Brandon Torres to advance to the Regional round. January 4th, 5th, and 6th "East Coast Sliver Gloves": BT Newton loses 4-1 decision (four judges gave it to Newton's opponent and one to BT) decision to Tarryl Robinson who also advanced to the Nationals with another victory in the championships. Robinson is also ranked #4 in the nation as a result of his experience in the National Silver Gloves and is a Ringside World Champion. Bryan Smith retires due to a toothache in his championship bout with Marquis Moore, a former Junior Olympic contestant. Moore also won the National Silver Gloves tournament. January 13th: Kendrick Baker drops and dominates Ishan Orem to gain a four round decision. BT Newton wins a decision against Joe Vega. Jorge Rodriguez pounds out a razor thin decision in his amateur debut against Luis Salas. Herby Asino gets off the deck early to decision his opponent in a tremendous climax to a great boxing show against Ian Campbell. January 27th: Jorge Rodriguez wins on decision. Serge Andrzjewski returns with a points win over Brain Goldman. Kendrick Baker defeats Justin Diaz in a tremendous, tumultuous battle. February 24th: Men's Open Gold-Coast (South-Florida) Tournament (Advancing Tournament): Kendrick Baker narrowly defeats Victor Prismatt to advance to South Carolina for the regional tournament. Baker stated afterwards that he felt "stiff" from weight training. Herby Asino easily dominates gritty, yet sluggish Josh Austin to capture a decision. Bryan Smith drops a decision to his opponent. Jorge Rodriguez seemingly defeats former victim Luis Salas but became the victim of a hometown decision. Former stable-mate, Wilson Feliciano, who transferred to Hollywood P.A.L recently, boxed for the South Florida title against Malcolm Stemphill. Stemphill floored Feliciano in the opener and stopped the negatively modified Feliciano in the following round. March 10th in Naples, Florida: Jorge Rodriguez comes up short against David Rios. Bryan Smith drops a hotly disputed decision to Ray Lugo. Herby Asino wins on disqualification after his opponent failed to take the physical test. March 17th in Regional Mens Open tournament: Kendrick Baker drops a decision to Jared Robinson of South Carolina in Semi-Finals. March 24th in Boca Raton: BT Newton comes up short in a close loss to Silver Gloves State Champion, Ariel Vega who had a height and six pound weight advantage on Newton. Jorge Rodriguez overcomes the aggressiveness of Charlie Marquez to take a points victory. Steve Geffrard makes his comeback in the show's "Main Event" against 2006 Ringside World Champion, Javaughn Mullings. Geffrard dropped his 6'3 opponent, and took a decision. Alden Chodash drops a controversial decision to Steven Cross. Lewis Linden makes his debut winning on retirement against Alan Perez after two rounds. William "Billy" Hodge also debuts with a close victory over his tricky southpaw opponent. March 31st in Florida State Golden Gloves: Jorge Rodriguez out-hustles David Rios and takes a points victory. BT Newton outpoints David Colon. Alden Chodash drops a close decision to Steven Cross. April 14th in South Florida JO tournament: BT Newton stalks down and defeats David Colon once again on points. Ahmad Joarder launches his comeback with a come-from-behind victory over Pedro Gonzalez. Jorge Rodriguez also comes from behind to defeat Fernando Vega in their match-up. May 11th and 12th in Regional JO tournament: Jorge Rodriguez outboxes Vernon "V.L" Bush in their semifinal match. Jorge Rodriguez drops a close split decision to Marquez Shaffer in the finals. Alden Chodash drops a close split decision to nationally ranked Rondarrius Hunter in their non-tournament bout. May 25th, 26th, and 27th in Platinum Gloves Tournament: BT Newton outworks Justin Emrick to take a decision that advanced him into the final round of his division. Emmanuel "Charlie" Herrera drops and defeats Brandon Brickley of Virginia in semifinal bout. Bryan Smith took a points victory against nationally ranked Dustin Mason to advance to final round. Emmanuel Herrera pounded out a points victory against Danny Polanco to take home the Platinum Gloves Championship. Bryan Smith dropped a close, split decision against Romero Esquival in the finals. Alden Chodash dropped a close decision to Steven Cross in finals. BT Newton defeats Joe Vega to earn the Platinum Gloves title. June 2nd in Port St. Lucie: Joseph Panisello won his amateur debut by outlasting and outworking Raymond Totela. Demetrius Porter dropped a close decision in his amateur debut to Shawn Guzman. Alden Chodash defeats Joshua Pagan in their match-up. Bryan Smith settled the score with rival Byron Zamora by taking a decision. Lewis Linden came up slightly short against Christopher Torres and therefore lost his first bout. June 16-17 in Lakeland. Sunshine State Games: Bryan Smith records his third victory over Byron Zamora with a decisive decision which bumped him into the finals. Emmanuel "Charlie" Herrera dominated Joshua Agosto to also advance to the championship round. Bryan Smith captured his first Sunshine State Games championship with a dominant performance over Evander Lamourt. Emmanuel "Charlie" Herrera joins Smith as a State Champion with a solid victory over Michael Haigwood in the final round. Walkover winners from Boca P.A.L included Alden Chodash, Lawrence Newton, and Jorge Rodriguez. July 14th in Hollywood: BT Newton stops an overmatched Jeremiah Boone in the third round of their bout. Emmanuel "Charlie" Herrera and Raul Rodriguez battle it out in what can be easily called the fight of the show although Rodriguez's aggressiveness slightly separated himself from Herrera and he was given the decision. July 28th in Las Vegas. National Junior Golden Gloves: Steve Geffrard wins his second national title with a decisive win over Sterling Morgan. August 1st-4th in Ringside World Championships: BT Newton wins a close decision over National Champion, Darious Woods in Quarter final round. BT Newton drops a decision to Francisco Cdevaca in semi-finals. Steve Geffrard pounds out a decision victory as well as his third national title by defeating Wynten Ellis in the finals. August 11th in Miami: Jorge Rodriguez drops a close decision to the hometown fighter, Eduardo Guerrero. Bryan Smith defeats another hometown hero, Pedro Gonzalez, in their rematch. BT Newton narrowly defeats Teofino Lopez in their fourth bout opposing each other. August 25th in West Palm Beach: Joe Panisello's short unbeaten run is cut short by Luis Gutierrez as he drops a decision. Herby Accino comes back to win his rematch against Josh Austin in an exciting points victory. October 27th in Miami: Bryan Smith defeats Verbain Curry in a decisive points win. Mac Briggs makes his return to the ring with a solid points victory over Ray De La Paz. November 3rd-4th in the State PAL held in Jacksonville: Bryan Smith defeats Jose Rios in semi-final round action. Joe Panisello drops a controversial decision to Ariel Zamora in his championship bout. Alden Chodash drops a decision to Ruben Ozuna in semi-final round action. Bryan Smith defeats Eric Rodriguez decisively to capture his second state title. November 10th in Miami: Joe Panisello drops a close decision to Eduardo Guerra. November 24th in Ft. Pierce: Alden Chodash records a solid points victory over the previously unbeaten, Ishmael Altman. Joe Panisello soundly defeats Ramiro Castillo en route to a points victory. December 1st in Ft. Pierce: Making his debut as an amateur, Cody Sexton is soundly beaten by the hometown fighter. Jorge Rodriguez drops a decision to Ruben Ozuna. BT Newton records his fifth victory over Joe Vega by points. December 8-9 in the Florida State Silver Gloves held in West Palm Beach: Also making his debut as an amateur, Christian Robles is stopped by future national champion, Bryan Zamora. Jorge Rodriguez becomes Silver Gloves State Champion as a tribute of his points win over Jeremy Jackson. Lawrence Newton drops a close decision to Ivanson Maurice in this their fourth bout opposing each other. Alden Chodash drops a points decision to future National Silver Gloves runner-up, Ezequiel Martinez. Joe Panisello is overwhelmed and stopped by David Rios. January 3rd-5th in the Regional Silver Gloves: Jorge Rodriguez advances to the nationals as a walkover winner. January 31st-February 2nd in the National Silver Gloves: Jorge Rodriguez defeats national champion, Shawn Simpson in quarter-final round action. Jorge Rodriguez drops a decision to another national champion, Michael Norato, in semi-final round action. March 8th in Miami: Christian Robles drops a close decision to National Silver Gloves runner-up, Casey Straw, who held a 60 pound weight advantage going into the fight. BT Newton stops Jeremiah Boone once again in the third round. March 30th-31st in the Florida State Golden Gloves: Herby Accino defeats both Joseph Merrill and Angel Nieves to capture the state championship in the novice, 178 pound division. April 5th in Jupiter
