Born in Jamaica raised in England and Heavyweight Champion Of The World. What a mixture. Lennox Lewis wasn't always a champion, in fact he was twice pointed out as one of boxing's biggest frauds. After the loss to Oliver McCall many people raised questions and after the loss to Hasim Rahman many people said "he's a good fighter with a bad chin in boxing's biggest division". Boy did he prove them wrong. He turned out to kayo both in rematches. "I don't lose the rematch" said Lewis. He's right every time. If he didn't win the first one (or got a draw like against Holyfield), he won the return. He's proved himself enough for me to stop questioning him. Even after his lackluster performance against Vitali Klitschko, he is still a great heavyweight. |
