Mention the word "quit" around Evander Holyfield and you're destined to hear the most negative remarks. You can say a lot about Evander but you cannot call him a quitter. Evander Holyfield is the first and only four time Heavyweight champion of the world. Holyfield never won the title with speed or power. Evander always had big disadvantages in heavyweight title fights in fact he once gave up 49 pounds in a fight against George Foreman. Holyfield was never a big puncher or a quick one but what made him heavyweight champion is his heart and his smarts. Also has one of the greatest chins in heavyweight boxing. Was in one of the greatest rounds in heavyweight boxing against Riddick Bowe. His greatest moment in his career was when he regained the title for the third time against Mike Tyson in a fight where many people were afraid for Holyfield's life against the "baddest man on the planet". Holyfield made history beating John Ruiz to become the first four time heavyweight kingpin. After humiliatingly losing his last three fights Evander Holyfield retired from the ring only to return with a blowout of outclassed Jeremy Bates and a surprising points win over former heavyweight title challenger Fres Oquendo.
